Big single turbos have one purpose, they make big max power. For drag cars, this is fine, but is almost useless in a car being driven on the street or road course. Twin turbos allow boost to come on sooner, making for a flatter, more useful, torque curve.
Big single turbos are only good for pissing contests in rice-ville, usa. BOG.........................................BOOST!! AWW, I hit redline :-(
